One great thing about being a university student is the student discounts. When you're paying university tuition, it's definitely helpful to save money. We have compiled a list of some student discounts available to McGill students.

• Amazon Prime - shopping (discounted price not free due to Quebec laws)

• GitHub Education Pack - programming

• Car Rental/Via-Rail through McGill - travel

• Provigo, Metro, and Bulk Barn - groceries (requires a minimum purchase and student ID, only certain days)

• SPC - shopping, costs $10/year

• Software through McGill - software (MATLAB, Microsoft Office, ChemOffice, ...)

• McGill Clubs - can receive a discount card usually through event participation

• ....and many others!
